The Association for Commuter Transportation runs its 2027 TDM Forum on April 6-7 at the
Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, at 225 Third Avenue South. It is two days built
around tracks covering current transportation demand management programs and research. ACT
describes the format as learning and sharing with industry expert sessions, not a trade
show.

## Why it matters for the data layer

TDM programs run on trip data, and the data is unusually consequential because money moves
on it. Commute surveys, vanpool and carpool matching records, employer benefit platforms,
and the trip verification that decides whether an incentive gets paid: all of it has to
hold up against a claim someone is making about a trip they say they took.

This is the smaller and more technical of ACT's two national meetings, which makes it the
better one for hearing how program managers at employers, TMAs, transit agencies and DOTs
actually reconcile their records with what their vendors report.
