2026 CASTA Fall Conference & EXPO
Colorado's annual transit gathering in Breckenridge, with a bus show, an awards dinner, and two co-located conferences.
The Colorado Association of Transit Agencies holds its fall conference and EXPO September 15-18 at the Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge. CASTA’s schedule opens with a golf outing on September 15, puts the EXPO and bus show on September 16, and runs the Colorado Transit Awards Dinner on September 17. Session content lives in a separate brochure rather than on the event page.
Why it matters for the data layer
Colorado’s mountain and rural agencies carry regional technology on very small teams: shared trip planners, fare interoperability across operators, and GTFS production that often falls to one or two people. This is the one week a year those agencies, CDOT and the vendors selling to them are in the same building, which makes the hallway conversations a better read on what small-agency data practice actually looks like than any procurement notice.
Two other conferences sit at the same venue that week, the SWTA Leadership Lab on September 14-15 and the State Partnerships Conference on September 16-17, and CASTA says attendees can register for extra days to sit in on them.
