2026 Florida Automated Vehicles Summit
Florida's annual summit on automated, connected, electric and shared transportation, November 11-13 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando.
The Florida Automated Vehicles Summit runs November 11-13 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, organized by the Florida Policy Project. The program covers automated, connected, electric and shared transportation technology across mobility operations, cybersecurity and public policy. The Florida Department of Transportation and industry partners take part. Past editions have included an exhibit floor and a student innovation competition.
Why it matters for the data layer
Florida runs one of the more active state connected vehicle and AV programs in the country, and this is the venue where that work gets reported out in public rather than buried in a district deliverable. Roadside infrastructure, message sets and the data sharing arrangements between FDOT, expressway and toll authorities, and vendors are the parts worth tracking.
Note the organizer. The convening body is the Florida Policy Project, not FDOT, which shows up as a participant. That distinction shapes how the policy sessions are framed.
