IBTTA 94th Annual Meeting & Exhibition
The global tolling industry's flagship annual meeting, hosted with the North Texas Tollway Authority in Arlington, Texas.
The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association holds its 94th Annual Meeting & Exhibition November 12-15 at the Loews Arlington Hotel in Arlington, Texas, hosted with the North Texas Tollway Authority under the theme “Driving What’s Next: Investment. Impact. Influence.”
Why it matters for the data layer
IBTTA’s annual meeting is the flagship gathering of the tolling industry, and tolling is quietly one of the most data-intensive corners of transportation: license-plate reading, interoperable account back-offices, and the reconciliation systems behind every trip charged. The program mixes general sessions, breakout tracks, council meetings, and technical tours, with a practical, lessons-learned bent.
For the data layer, the material worth watching is interoperability and back-office systems, where tolling agencies have spent years solving the same account-and-identity problems that road pricing and managed lanes now inherit. Despite the “International” name, this is a US-based event. Registration opens August 7, and the board and committee meetings run the two days prior.
