The Intelligent Vehicle Expo North America runs October 27-29 at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, Michigan. Formerly the Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, it now sits under the Vehicle Tech Week North America umbrella alongside the Automotive Testing Expo and related shows.
Why it matters for the data layer
This is the engineering-side counterpart to the policy and agency events: how intelligence actually gets designed into vehicles. The program leans into software-defined vehicle architectures, AI-driven systems, cloud and edge computing, and cybersecurity tied to functional safety.
For the data layer, the vehicle is increasingly a data platform in its own right, and this is where the people building that platform gather, from OEMs to Tier 1 suppliers. Two naming notes for readers: the event rebranded from Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, and its venue was renamed from Suburban Collection Showplace to Vibe Credit Union Showplace at the start of 2026.
