The Institute of Transportation Engineers holds its flagship annual meeting July 19-22 at Huntington Place in Detroit, co-hosted in 2026 with its Great Lakes District. The program runs across eight tracks covering safety, traffic engineering, planning, and the operations side of surface transportation.

ITE is the professional home of the traffic engineers and planners who actually specify and operate roadway systems, so its annual meeting sits close to the infrastructure side of the beat.
