ITS Midwest, the regional ITS America chapter, holds its 2026 Conference & Expo on
September 22-23 in Dublin, Ohio. The program covers roadway operations and ITS deployment
across the chapter's member states, with an exhibit hall alongside the sessions. Online
registration runs through the chapter's own site, at member rates. The venue is not yet

## Why it matters for the data layer

The Ohio-centered ITS community meets here, and that includes the ODOT and Columbus-area
programs behind a good deal of the region's connected-vehicle and traffic-signal data work.
Regional chapter meetings are where deployment detail actually gets discussed: what the
devices report, what the signal systems log, and which of it survives into something an
agency can use.

It is also one of the few rooms where NEORide and Midwest transit-tech staff sit in the
same building as roadway operations people. Those two groups usually publish data on
separate tracks, and the overlap is worth watching.
