# ITSNJ Annual Meeting 2026

ITSNJ, the New Jersey ITS America chapter, runs its Annual Meeting on October 8 at the
Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center in Princeton. It is a single day and the chapter's
largest event of the year, with room for up to 16 tabletop exhibits. ITSNJ says it expects
more than 300 transportation professionals. Registration is open, and the lowest pricing
ends September 1, 2026.

## Why it matters for the data layer

New Jersey sits between two of the densest transit and tolling data environments in the
country. This is the one day when NJDOT and NJ TRANSIT technology staff, the Turnpike
Authority and Port Authority, county and municipal traffic engineers, and the integrators
who build for all of them are in a room together.

The chapter also runs a Traffic Signals Committee, which puts signal data and
performance-measure practice on the agenda directly rather than as an afterthought to a
procurement talk. For a one-day regional meeting, that is a useful concentration.
