Micromobility Industries runs Micromobility America on November 11-12 in San Francisco, which the organizer calls the world’s premier mobility conference for small vehicles. The format is stage programming alongside an expo floor, a test track, and a startup arena with its own awards program. Free passes are available by application to eligible city officials, media, students, researchers and academics. No venue is named on the event page.

Why it matters for the data layer

The operators on that expo floor are the same companies publishing GBFS feeds and negotiating MDS data-sharing terms with the cities that permit them. Both sides of those agreements are in the building, since the free city-official pass brings in the regulators who write the reporting requirements.

That combination makes it a useful read on how shared-vehicle data reporting is working in practice rather than on paper: which fields cities actually use, what operators push back on, and where a permit condition turns into an engineering task.
