The second Modeling Mobility Conference runs April 12-15, 2027 on the Arizona State
University campus in Tempe, convened by the Zephyr Foundation and co-sponsored with ASU's
Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. The program covers travel models, transportation data
and quantitative analysis. The call for abstracts is open for single topic presentations and
special session proposals.

## Why it matters for the data layer

MoMo succeeded TRB's Transportation Planning Applications Conference, which has wound down.
That makes it the main US gathering for the people who consume mobility data downstream:
passive location data, ridership feeds, GTFS-derived networks and household survey data all
arrive here as model inputs, and the arguments about their quality are had in public.

The same community writes and maintains much of the open source modeling tooling that
agencies later write into procurements. If you want early warning on which data conventions
an MPO will be asking a vendor to meet in three years, this is where they get settled.
