2026 Oregon Public Transportation Conference
Oregon's statewide transit conference in Seaside, run by OTA with ODOT's Public Transportation Division under the theme Mobility Without Barriers.
The Oregon Transit Association holds its statewide conference November 2-5 at the Seaside Civic & Convention Center, presented with ODOT’s Public Transportation Division under the theme “Mobility Without Barriers.” The week runs Monday through Thursday, with the awards at Wednesday lunch and a PASS training workshop on the closing Thursday. The session agenda was still listed as coming soon at the time of checking.
Why it matters for the data layer
Oregon’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund pushed both money and reporting obligations down to a long tail of small providers, many of which had no data practice before the mandate arrived. Seaside is where those providers, their ODOT program contacts and their vendors actually meet.
If you want to see how a state reporting requirement turns into real collection and publishing habits at agencies with two staff and a spreadsheet, this is a better vantage point than a national conference. Legislators and legislative staff attend as well, which keeps the funding half of the conversation in the room.
