Smart Cities Connect Spring 2026

The spring edition of Smart Cities Connect, on municipal technology and urban mobility, in Raleigh.

Visit event site

Smart Cities Connect runs two Conference & Expo editions a year. The spring 2026 edition took place March 10-12 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, with tracks spanning digital transformation, urban operations and infrastructure, mobility, and community engagement.

Why it matters for the data layer

Smart Cities Connect is broader than transportation, but its mobility track is squarely on the beat, and the value is seeing transportation technology in the context cities actually buy it: alongside lighting, water, sensors, and IoT, under one municipal budget. That cross-domain framing is a useful corrective to transportation-only events.

This spring edition has concluded. A note for anyone chasing the link: the spring.smartcitiesconnect.org site has already rolled forward to the 2027 edition in Boston, so it no longer describes the Raleigh event. The fall 2026 edition near Washington, DC is the upcoming one to watch.
