TransportationCamp DC returns Saturday, January 9, 2027, run by Transportation for America.
Attendees propose and vote on 50-minute breakout sessions the morning of the event, then run
them across five session periods in nine to ten rooms, around a mid-morning keynote and a
closing reception. T4America says the 2026 edition drew more than 400 attendees and 50
original sessions. The venue has not been announced, and T4America said registration opens
in September 2026.

This is the informal front porch of TRB week. Data standards arguments, agency tooling
complaints and open-data show-and-tell all get aired here without the peer-review filter
that shapes what makes it into a TRB paper, which is precisely why the room is more candid
