The Transportation Research Board runs this specialty conference June 7-9, 2027 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown, 600 Commonwealth Place. Why it matters for the data layer
Data governance and interoperability are named program areas here, not sessions squeezed into a corner of somebody else’s agenda. That makes this the most substantial federal-adjacent US venue on the 2027 calendar for the argument that keeps stalling projects: who owns agency data, who curates it, and on what terms it gets shared.
The mix of ITS engineers, agency data and IT staff, standards participants, researchers and vendors is the right one for that fight. One practical note: the conference is not yet indexed by search engines, so aggregator listings will be missing or stale for a while.
